Bleep Computing are one of the UK's largest developers of electronic point of sale (EpoS) software. They offer consulting, development and integration services to facilitate the implementation of electronic point of sale systems in addition to appropriate e-business strategies, enabling their clients to conduct business utilising electronic point of sale systems in an Internet-based environment.
Their website says that EPoS solutions permit businesses to purchase goods and services via the Internet. In particular, their EPoS services include real-time ordering, delivery time reduction, inventory reduction and improved access to suppliers. Bleep aim to provide the highest level in all aspects of EPoS services offered to clients. These range from initial consultation, project management to installation and training, through to post-sales support and maintenance.
Their website talks about one of their clients - Pets at Home who have used retail sales software supplied by Bleep Computing for many years, but the company upgraded their original product to a Windows platform and Novell network, in order to benefit from PC-based sales and stock control. Pets at Home stipulated the retail control system should integrate with its warehouse system. In order to achieve this, Bleep Computing undertook a programme of bespoke work.
